#OTD 1 June 1854, the only time the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland ever met in Munster comes to an end. The two day half-yearly GOLI meeting took place in the Imperial Hotel, Cork City. At this point Cork had 44 Orange lodges across 4 districts, with 8 in Cork City alone!
A new addition to my collection- an incredibly rare artefact from 'Orange' Ireland. This is the Orange Sash of John Robert Kent, a member of Lodge no. 1530 titled 'Royal Nassau'. They met in Tuckey St, Cork City. This dates from mid 1830s to 1849s.
PRESIDENT TRUMP: "I'm proud to join with Christians across the country and around the world to celebrate the most glorious miracle in all of time: The resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ."
"To be a great nation, you must have religion — and you must have God. In churches across the nation on Sunday, the pews will be fuller, younger, and more faithful than they have at any time in many, many years."
"Happy Easter to all, may God bless you, may God bless the United States of America."

We are absolutely devastated to hear of the passing of our dear friend Kenny McFarland. On behalf of the NWCP, we express our deepest condolences to the McFarland family, He was a humble, generous man and a respected community leader.
Great day in Dublin! Back in Skinners Alley to remember the first Orangeman in Ireland. King William III delivered the modern concept of civil rights to the world. It has been bastardised, but no King Billy and we would be living in a different world. The GLORIOUS Revolution
A clip of the band last night playing in Rasharkin with a young drum corps and young Jonathan Thompson got his first run out on the piccolo with the help of Reds, Absolutely brilliant to see the young members thriving in the band with the support of all the members.
