Civil engineering Week 5! We learned about groundwater using our aquifers, compared water pumps, and felt how heavy water can be. We also discussed how getting water in South Sudan would be different than here!πͺ

Build A Hut Camp Week 3, moved on from construction into solar!
We measured the wattage in devices in our homes, learned how solar panels turn light into energy, and wired solar panels in series and parallel!

Kicking off Build A Hut camp last week! We talked with CEO of Aqua Africa, Buey Tut, worked on our math skills, created a 3D model in AutoCAD, geocached South Sudanese artifacts, and persevered through the hardship of brick laying! πͺπ
