Washington announced the agreement Tuesday after a fourth round of talks. Every obligation in the text falls on Lebanon:
- Lebanon must end all resistance fire
- Lebanon must clear the South Litani Sector of fighters
- Lebanon must hand "pilot zones" to the LAF under U.S. supervision
- Lebanon must dismantle the groups that fought the 2024 invasion

Israel commits to no withdrawal, no timeline, no reciprocal step. The U.S. will fund and direct the Lebanese army that is meant to do the disarming. This will lead to a civil conflict.
