Political events don’t happen by accident.
And we don’t have to blame the UAE by giving an international platform to a secessionist militia leader.

It is the Somali Federal government that is responsible for this hostile act against the Somali sovereignty.

Anybody who doesn’t see the writing on the wall is either naive or an idiot.

The Somali government is not only undermining the Somali sovereignty but is intentionally trying to destroy the people in Awdal, Makhir, and SSC-Khaatumo by aligning, propping up, and openly supporting a secessionist clan (the Isaaq) in the north of the Somali Republic.

The Somali government ignores the regions in the north who oppose the Isaaq secessionist group and promote the Somali unity. It doesn’t allow these regions to defend their regions against the secessionists who are trying to hijack them and compel them to secede with them.

There is no doubt the Somali government is behind this recent fiasco.

Indeed this is a wake up call for all Somalis who care about their existence.

Complacency has no place in politics, and blind loyalty to a government that is conspiring to bury you alive in every second will not work.

We have survived for centuries using our own ingenuity, and we the people in Awdal State, Makhir, and SSC-Khatumo should internationalize our case and take it to the world platforms and forums.

We should forget the illusion that there is a Somali government that defends our rights as Somalis.

We the Awdal State, Makhir, and SSC-Khatumo people don’t want to be part of what is erroneously called “Somaliland”.

If the Somali Republic is dismembered, we will declare our own Republics.
