Most people watch the World Cup from cafe or a couch. Türkiye fans watch it at 6:00 AM from a 2,000-year-old ancient theatre facing the sea. 🇹🇷🌅
Football with a view like this hits different. 😮
The same racists who spend their lives telling Moroccan diaspora kids they are not really Spanish, Belgian, French or Dutch are suddenly shocked when so many choose to represent Morocco and honour their parents.
What is it now? Are we European only when our talent benefits you?
“Namazdan önemli bir şey mi var?”
Senagal millî takımı, şiddetli rüzgar uyarısına rağmen Cuma namazına gitti, teknik direktör Pape Thiaw, gazeteciye ibretlik bir cevap verdi!
Gazeteci:
🚨Steven Gerrard on the 18yr old midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi performance in the midfield against Brazil super team.
🗣️“Such brilliant performances from the young teenager, honestly the kid performance caught my attention in the second half of the game and started wondering how he’s this good.
Such performance at an age like this is always mind blowing to watch especially against this Brazilian side, that’s why it’s truly remarkable. Wish if Liverpool could have keep an eye on him throughout the tournament and get him sign after. His transition and how he controls the midfield is something every club will need in their midfield just like Vitinha.”
OMG, listen to the Mexican announcers on team USA's 3rd goal going completely off-script
I haven't laughed this hard in a long time! "Oh my f*cking goodness" 😂
There was a moment late in the game where Bouaddi was actually clapping (appreciating a pass from the left-sided centre-back).
Receives it, turns, and instantly starts looking forward, carrying and progressing the ball.
His level of scanning before receiving is seriously advanced. Can play in 360 degrees. Recycles possession smoothly, shifting from short passes to long switches that change the point of attack. Covers ground with those long legs, handles transitions well, and reads danger early. All at 18 years old. That's nuts.
Brilliant defensive midfielder, man. Proper talent.
Ayyoub Bouaddi manipulates the ball and handles pressure like a player competing at his fourth World Cup.
18 years old.
Insane maturity. Insane talent. 🇲🇦💎
Morocco are genuinely going to be a problem in this tournament. The intensity, chemistry, character, and quality of football they’re playing is unreal.
They deserve to be mentioned in the same conversation as France, Spain, Portugal, and England.
What Ayyoub Bouaddi is doing might genuinely be the performance of the World Cup so far.
How do you even turn up to your first World Cup at 18, against Brazil, and play like this on your debut…
If Morocco get a result against Brazil tonight, it needs to stop being called a shock.
This is not a team riding emotion or underdog chaos, as many still describe it. It is disciplined, fearless, and built to frustrate even the biggest attacks in football.
