School systems are really fucked. I have a friend in Mexico who is a teacher and is not allowed to fail students to "keep graduation rates up". Even when the student blatantly misses the majority of the school year. That's in Mexico, but I didn't know that it was happening here in the US too. I guess its not that surprising
Republicans are now openly bullying transgender people, so that they don't have to talk about inflation, the Epstein files, the war in Iran that killed innocent children or Trump's corruption.
Using the language of the crazies like this and playing their game might be the only way to show the rest of the world how ridiculous things have become 🤣
🚨 JUST IN: Former NBA player Royce White just dropped this line on national TV after QUALIFYING for the WNBA Draft
"I'm just having a blast in my feminine era. I never thought that I was a woman."
"I think it's only fair I get a chance to play with some of my queens here in the twilight of my career, my athletic prime!"
OMG 😂😂
"You know, I've always trusted the science and I thought I was a man my entire life, but you know, after further review and strong look at my personal preferences — it would appear that that I am indeed sometimes identifying as a transgender woman."
@kevinnbass True. I don't feel bad for him, but Fauci shouldn't be the only one. There's a lot more people who should be investigated - like the one's responsible for FDA approvals that then later got C-Suite positions in Pfizer, Moderna, etc. Not to mention high profile celebs, media, etc
“Thinking he was being robbed”. How? He’s expecting to get swatted and police are required to announce themselves. And he let someone check his PC to prove he wasn’t cheating? What was he getting blackmailed for? Poor dude, but sounds like he’s retarded.
Also, swatting needs to be taken more seriously and people who do it should face consequences. I don’t like that you can anonymously do this. Either trace the call or require the person identify themselves and hold them accountable if lying.
What an incredible achievement. I still can’t fully grasp how this is possible - sustaining continuous effort, fighting the current, and driving himself forward for 55 straight hours with zero sleep. Just wow.
🇵🇱 HISTORIC ACHIEVEMENT: POLISH SWIMMER BECOMES THE FIRST PERSON EVER TO SWIM THE BALTIC SEA FROM SWEDEN TO POLAND 🔥
Bartłomiej Kubkowski has just written history.
After five attempts over several years, the Polish ultra-swimmer completed a nonstop crossing of the Baltic Sea — more than 160 km in around 55 hours without sleep, without rest, and without touching the support boat.
He started from Sweden on Friday and reached the beach in Dziwnów (West Pomerania) on Sunday evening, where crowds were waiting for him. After getting out of the water he was so exhausted he admitted he “still doesn’t know” what it feels like to have actually done it. During the second day he even experienced hallucinations.
In 2025 he had come agonizingly close — swimming 159 km before losing consciousness just 11 km from the finish. This time he finished the job.
He dedicated the historic swim to the children supported by the Cancer Fighters Foundation.
“You shouldn’t use an LLM for research”
“An LLM just solved a fields medal worthy problem”
Absolute insanity that these two opinions exist on the same timeline
Yup. For most of my life, when talking politics, I was considered on the "left". Through no change whatsoever, I’m now on the "right" lol
The left is so insane now that being normal puts you on the right. Crazy.
Big fan of Battlebots and combat robots in general. I've built some and competed in local tournaments - and this humanoid robot combat league looks so cool.
It would be even better if the bots had manual controls like in regular combat robot leagues, but I think this is pure AI control.
Maybe there are separate divisions? Don't know, but manual controlled fighting humanoid robots would be dope.
There are many people like this in general. Spiteful. Resentful. Poisonous.
Anyone who has stood out even a little bit for anything - academic excellence, skill in sports, whatever - you've felt the poison of these passive aggressive parasites.
I’ve been thinking about this kind of thing a lot too. Especially as I myself get older in age.
I wouldn’t say it’s just feminism. As a man I always noticed a kind of social taboo around starting a family too young. Whether that was opinions stated by friends and other classmates, or adults like teachers, parents, etc. The common opinion towards starting a family was always negative.
I was told to be very careful and not get a girl pregnant. I was told it would ruin my life.
And yet some of my friends and family - the ones who got pregnant at like 17, 18, are living happy with their family. Now im closing in on 40 and it feels like I missed the boat.
I think we need to encourage more people to start families. This fixation on career and shit is not good.
