Beware of internet demagogues ⚠️

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 | 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗯𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗱𝗶

Certain individuals have not understood the lessons that are to be taken from the fitnah of Muhammad ibn Hādī and they engage in attacking people of Sunnah and callers to Salafiyyah without proof, and attributing to them statements that they did not make while expecting people to accept these accusations without any proof, merely due to the knowledge or station of the one who makes them.

The lesson our 'Ulemā like Al-'Allāmah Rabī ibn Hādī taught us in this fitnah was not that the speech of the 'Ālim or Shaykh should be accepted even when there is no proof to justify it, in fact the lesson was the complete opposite i.e. that speech should only be accepted when it is accompanied by proofs and evidences regardless of the one who utters it. Muhammad ibn Hādī was seen as an 'Ālim at the time and this did not exempt him from having to bring proof for his claims.

𝗔𝗹-'𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶' 𝗶𝗯𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗱𝗶 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱:

"You (Oh Muhammad ibn Hādī) have spoken at great length, again and again, about the individuals you oppose and warn against, yet you have not presented a single piece of evidence to prove their deviation. From your inability to produce evidence that would establish their wrong-doing, it is clear that you are empty-handed of any proof. So fear Allāh regarding yourself and regarding them, and keep before your eyes the saying of Allah, the Most High:

“Not a word does he utter except that with him is an observer, ready (to record it).” [Sūrah Qāf verse 18]

And His saying, the Exalted:

“O you who believe, fear Allāh and always speak with a word that is just and truthful. He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has indeed achieved a great achievement.” [Sūrah Ahzāb verses 70-71]" (End quote from https://t.co/7EZLXJkPWY)

One must remember that the followers of Muhammad ibn Hādī called to accepting his accusations against people - though he provided no evidence for these accusations - purely because he was "the 'ālim", "more knowledgeable" and "more senior" than them. However, his level of knowledge nor his position or seniority in the da'wah prevented the people of Sunnah - and at the head of them Al-'Allāmah Rabī' ibn Hādī - from holding him to account and rejecting his speech when he failed to substantiate it with proofs!

And Allāh's refuge is sought.

Allāh have mercy on our Shaikh, the Imām, Al-‘Allāmah, Rabee’ Ibn Hādī Al-Madkhali who passed away today, Wednesday 14th Muharram 1447. His Janāzah will be performed after Fajr on Thursday at the Prophet’s Masjid in Madinah, inshā’-Allāh.

By Allah, it is very close, yet we are so heedless.

The Prophet (may Allah raise his rank & grant him peace) said:

«الجنة أقرب إلى أحدكم من شِراك نعله، والنار مثل ذلك»
"Paradise is closer to one of you than the strap of his own sandal, and the Hellfire is like that, too."

In times of fitan, you often see random individuals come out of nowhere. They constantly speak or type online, many a time about matters that are foreign to them and do not concern them.

Many of them begin as mere translators ... but after gaining a few retweets here and there, you find them giving their own 2 cents on affairs with lengthy posts filled with their own grand ideas on affairs way bigger than them.

Even after a fitnah has blown over, they remain eager to speak and desperate to maintain that newly found relevance. They overestimate their significance and misjudge how many people are actually listening to them.

𝗔 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿𝘀: they are seldom people of actual Da'wah - they have no real athar of khayr in their own lands let alone the global Da'wah.

𝗔𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰: their tongues are moist in publicising the perceived or actual shortcomings of Ahlus Sunnah - it is as if this is their "passion project"; you find them constantly baring their fangs against Ahlus Sunnah -- as if Ahlul bida' wal ahwā` have ceased to exist!

It is EASY to identify these people. "𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗵!". Alhamdu lillāh, it is these fitan that expose the truly ugly nature of these people.

They waste their own time and the time of others. 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗨𝗘 𝗢𝗥 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗖𝗧 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗛 𝗣𝗘𝗢𝗣𝗟𝗘. If they refuse to act upon the advice of the Prophet 'alaihis salām to "𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁" then leave them to rant in a vacuum.

𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲:

If someone was not known for knowledge BEFORE a fitnah, nor were they worthy of being listened to BEFORE a fitnah, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗲𝘅𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺!

Alhamdu lillāh the true people of Salafiyyah, the educators and cultivators, people who have mutual love and co-operation between them, those with real tangible efforts in Da'wah through lessons and authorships ... then they are well known in every land - 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝗼𝗿 𝗻𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗮𝗵!

And Allāh's aid is sought.

So why the haste, O student of knowledge?

Who asked you to write?

Who compelled you to cast judgment praising, criticizing, elevating or demoting others?

Take to deliberation, and busy yourself with that which will benefit you.

For the truly guided is the one whom Allah has guided.”

Some people speak with disrespect of the scholars, and yet they cannot even see how terrible their disrespect is. "Every person with basic intellect knows the reality of the plandemic..." So the scholars do not even have basic intellect then?! Think about what you are saying.

Observation: Some people say that the reality of covid & vaccines (being fake) has become clear to everyone, even the most uneducated laymen.

Question: Are the scholars more unaware of reality than the most uneducated laymen now? Because we have not anything like this from them.
