@jackiewongakgae Stuff I think is funny, figure skating clips I want to save, articles and videos that I want to watch later, resources/explainer threads that I don't need yet but might need to use at some point

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

I really didn't expect that watching GPdF would launch me immediately back into the headspace I was in after Worlds

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

@bobelbobbles What made you decide to study chemistry

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

@liuputmehere The stretch between the Olympics and Worlds feels like a dream now

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

Honestly I think that Isabeau gives off more of a CEO vibe than Amber does

[emma @goatnakai]

ISABEAU LEVITO on her 2026/2027 season programs

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

@styrofoamcrisp2 @casuallyquad This is what we should be canceling him for tbh

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

My grandpa who doesn't watch figure skating outside of maybe during the Olympics watched the Men's Free Skate bc it was on NBC sports

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

@rinkapod Insane lore

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

@vadymcostcocard Maybe he'll go to Home Depot to celebrate

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

I'm pretty sure that if I showed them a picture of Chock/Bates, Ami Nakai, or Amber Glenn they'd recognize them

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

Of the current ones I think that my parents just know Ilia Malinin, Alysa Liu, maybe Mikhail Shaidorov?, and Kao Muira bc I told them about him going from 9th to podium on Sunday.

[liv 🇵🇷 I 🍉 @OliviazBored]

I always assumed that Paris was in the dead center of France so I was confused that Chris Howarth kept saying that Angers was southwest of it all weekend so I just looked it up and learning where Paris actually is was a shattering experience

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

Ami Nakai Gutmann

Is this anything?

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

@draintedak Also I think that this is a U.S. politics specific thing but when people cite "x party hasn't won this seat in 40 years" as an argument for why some electoral outcome is unlikely.

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

@draintedak Not actually a fact but my least favorite factoid in this genre is when people claim that the Emancipation Proclamation didn't actually free any slaves because it only applied to Confederate States

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

Actually in the unlikely event that someone wanted to do a TMG program, The Life of the World to Come would probably be the most fertile ground for one

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

The Mountain Goats are probably not a great band to skate too but I think a skater with really strong artistry could do a cool program to Grendel's Mother

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

(I promise I'm not trying to be a guy that just posts about how people should skate to bands I like)

[Jackie Wong @rockerskating]

I just saw a video of someone dressed as MacArthur Park Alysa doing Stateside Alysa choreography and I threw my phone in rage

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

They screwed up by not scheduling the grand prixs so that Sarah Everhardt could do the Danse Macabre SP on Halloween

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

@bobelbobbles She has four golds in my heart 💜

[Omega Locust @OmegaLocust]

@draintedak The lazy answer is Ari Zakarian but I know there's a better one out there
