Juneteenth is a day to celebrate freedom and remember what was endured by those enslaved throughout American history. This year it was declared a federal holiday, and while this is a step in the right direction, there is so much work left to do. #juneteenth#freedomday#blm

We are devastated by yesterday’s news of the 8 individuals, 6 of which were Asian women, who were victims of xenophobic violence in Georgia. The shooting is a tragedy, and our hearts go out to the families of the victims, as well as the Asian community as a whole.
Join us this month as we celebrate Women’s Herstory Month! March is a time where we reflect and celebrate all of the women who have paved paths, made herstory, and broken down barriers.

In the last year and in recent weeks we have seen an uptick in the # of attacks against the Asian community across the country. Violence in any of our communities affects us all, and we stand with Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders as they work to protect their communities.
Join us for our 1st national Destroying All Boundaries event hosted by Kristen Simon, a Tau chapter alum & the NY Regional Chair of Alumnae Association. She served on the board for BLM Morristown and played an active role in organizing and participating in teach-ins and protests.
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our sister, Sakinah Ware, Delta Chapter, Spring 1999. We are sending our condolences to all of her family and friends, and we hope that she is resting easy in the pinkest of skies💗 OLNA2
