As much as I wanted it to be you, you showed me in so many ways that you didn’t want it to be me. And I think the hardest part is accepting that I can’t love someone into choosing me. I can’t keep holding onto the version of us I hoped for when your actions have already told me the truth. I wanted it to work. I wanted you to want it the way I did. But wanting something deeply doesn’t make it mutual. So I’m learning to accept what hurts: sometimes the person you would have chosen a thousand times simply isn’t choosing you. And as heartbreaking as that is, I have to choose myself now.
dissapearing on your partner after conflict when they need clarity or closeness is not giving yourself space. it is emotional abuse. the anxiety and abandonment wounds it creates are very real
let your final act of love be giving them the silence they always asked for. no more begging for time, replies, effort, or bare minimum. step back, let go, and heal.
This girlie on TikTok said she had 2 years to prepare for her baby. She prepped her and her husband’s body before conception, studied like she is going to write an exam on how to take care of her child. Went to therapy and made sure her finances were right. I think that was nice😊
