I know this is a late one from me, but I just saw the news of dog jotas death, this has shocked me in several ways, my condolences go out to him and his family and all those around him.
Cristian Romero is the definition of a modern day defender… these agendas about recklessness and rashness have finally been brushed aside as the nonsense they are and we can finally appreciate the top level ability he has.. his passing is so underrated coupled with his athleticism and aggression… there aren’t many better in the modern game.
Foden is the single major reason why the England attack has looked bad this tournament.
His inclusion negates a runner to stretch the pitch for Kane, clogs the middle up for Kane and Bellingham, takes away a more physical option to play and prevents us from seeing Palmer.
Kane scored 40+ goals this season with two wingers that ran in behind and serviced him.
Southgate opted to play a low-block, a No.10 at LW and wouldn’t allow the players to break formation to run-in behind.
The failings are NOT all on Harry Kane.
🚨🚨🎙️| Van der Vaart with harsh words on Rice:
"€100M for Declan Rice. What does he do? He comes to collect a ball only to pass it back to John Stones. He is useless. If you are truly worth €100M, then you should be able to play a ball forward."

Everyone has had to accommodate Foden in this team.
—Kane playing without his signature runner
—Jude Bellingham forced to play LW
—Saka has been forced to play wingback
All for nothing. A tournament wasted on proving a 2nd-tier talent.
With 9 goals, Harry Kane now has more knockout stage goals at major international tournaments than any other European player in history.
Another record broken 💪
Tottenham had to endure half the league rollover for Leicester when they were pushing for the title so forgive us if we’re more than happy to rollover for Man City on Tuesday
