For those worried about their #twitch highlights, I tried this script: This script scans a folder of Twitch VODs, tests 30 random frames per video for corruption, moves any broken files to a "Failed" folder, logs the results to a .txt file, and sends a notification when done.

@RockLeeSmile @CommanderRoot If they said you could save 15tb for 20/month, you would keep their memories, people don't have to stress download everything, people won't feel betrayed and thus jump ship - losing more revenue, so they had a long term plan they could have gone with but went short term profits.

@RockLeeSmile @CommanderRoot I said this multiple times but a subscription plan to increase highlight storage would have been the better outcome - 20 a month per person would be pure revenue, especially if a 20tb hdd (roughly 400) is enough for like 90% of the users.

Everything is almost backed up aside from some files may be stuttering or corrupted. Still it's amazing that #twitch didn't offer a subscription plan to back up our highlights, I bought a 20tb hdd for 400, if twitch said $20 a month for 15tb, it would have been a win-win

Just saw there’s a @Twitch Voice Vote thing starting up to request more time to save our VODs, which realistically, many of us really fucking need. Throw in a vote and spread the word if you can - you might just save a VOD-with-chat’s life.
