Every coach on Kansas City's sideline knows more about football than I ever will so if they think Sneed is the best option despite what's right in front of their face then I'm just not gonna waste my energy complaining.
Chiefs defensive issues are just rinse and repeat. Can't reliably get off the field on 3rd down. Can't reliably get pressure or finish sacks with four which means they have to blitz and get exposed for explosives on the backend.
We've reverted back to the conservative play calling. Seattle defense is not to be taken lightly but that doesn't mean you can't challenge them. 3rd and 4, just treat it like there's two downs.
@matthewpoole51 Yeah just a bit strange. And doing it on game day just ensures that win or lose its gonna be one of the first things they're both asked about. So if it's calculated I'm just not sure why this couldn't wait until Monday or midweek.
My only take on the Simmons story: seems obvious it came from the top but... Andy has been loathe to answer questions and saying he doesn't want to be asked about it again so the idea he would ok a story that puts not just him in the spotlight but especially Mahomes seems strange
Absolutely horrific holding call on that play. Was not anything resembling a hold but gives the Broncos a free first down on a great defensive stop by the Cardinals.
"I don't want to talk about this" and then leaking a story on GameDay that puts your star QB in the position of having to answer a million questions seems incongruous at best and just generally poor comms strategy. No reason that couldn't of waited until Monday or Tuesday.
Only RT'ing this because it's a good example of how most discourse gets started on here which is: random blue check whose entire account is tweeting out stolen texts and DMs and going "Was I wrong?" Just engagement farming bullshit that was probably never even real to begin with.
