@mert@infraxa@LightProtocol@solana Also worth highlighting some of the teams doing great work in the space like @infraxa and @LightProtocol.
Privacy infra on Solana is getting really interesting. Love seeing builders shipping real tech.
Respectfully, teams like @infraxa and @LightProtocol (along with a handful of others for sure) submitted some really strong work to the panel of experts for the @solana privacy hackathon and didn’t receive a mention.
Meanwhile some teams pumped → won → rugged.
Feels like we need to talk about developer reputation on Solana.
It would be stellar if there was some kind of trust / reputation system for devs building on Solana.
Yo I love Solana and this isn’t meant to throw dirt — the hackathon judging panel is made up of some of the best and brightest minds in crypto.
But even great experts can miss things, and somehow a few rug-pull teams got rewarded while some genuinely strong privacy work didn’t get mentioned.
Feels like the ecosystem deserves a better way to track builder credibility. Maybe something like an open builder reputation layer could help.
Curious what builders think — especially folks who were involved in judging like @catmcgee.

This hackathon took a real toll on the trust we had with the broader Solana hackathon community, our users, and everyone who has believed in and supported us since the start. Worth being honest about.
