Driving Veterans Futures Through Golf
We were thrilled to deliver our first-ever Scottish Championship @PeeblesGC, with 29 beneficiaries competing.

At the beginning of May, 10 UK based beneficiaries joined their counterparts @OCFUSA for a Warm Weather Training Week @MarriottGlfAcad and @GrandeVistaGolf.
Once again, it was an incredible week of coaching, golf, employment insight and camaraderie in the Orlando sun.

We recently delivered two Golf Skills Days supporting beneficiaries and the wider armed forces community, including this week @kingsfieldgolf.
This included sons, granddaughters, spouses, fathers-in-laws and friends - all of whom have been part of our beneficiaries recovery.
We had a fantastic turnout at our Golf Skills Day at @GalgormGolf on Tuesday, with 16 beneficiaries in attendance.
A huge thank you to the @ArmyBenFund for funding our expanded programme in Northern Ireland this year. π«‘
We have recently received an incredible grant of Β£39,008 the from Scottish Veterans Fund via the @scotgov, which will support the delivery of our programme in Scotland up until March 2028.

David Llewellyn has been appointed as the 86th Captain of The PGA, marking a proud moment in an outstanding career in the game.
A highly respected PGA Member, David brings more than five decades of experience across playing, coaching and club leadership. From European Tour success to his continued work at Carden Park, his contribution reflects the very best of The PGA.
βItβs the greatest honour The PGA can bestow upon a golf professional, to ask them to be Captain of the Association,β he said.
David follows in a distinguished line of Captains and will represent the Association with great pride in the year ahead.

Continuing the employment news, we are thrilled to report that beneficiary Matt Arnold has started the role of Assistant Greenkeeper at the prestigious Wentworth Golf Club.
Matt is now the second member of the team, joining fellow beneficiary and Head Mechanic, Dave Hughes.
We are delighted to share the news that beneficiary Chris Platts has recently started in the role of Secretary at Tankersley Park Golf Club, near Sheffield.
