“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” Romans 8:16-17
There aren’t words to describe the blessing modern day apostles and prophets have been in my life. Their closeness to Jesus Christ has given them transcendent wisdom which has refined me, helping me become the kind of friend, husband, and father I always hoped I could be.
“God is anxiously waiting for the chance to answer your prayers and fulfill your dreams, just as He always has. But He can’t if you don’t pray, and He can’t if you don’t dream. In short, He can’t if you don’t believe.”
-Jeffrey R. Holland

“Our Heavenly Father knows our needs and will help us as we call upon Him. I have learned that the sweetest experience in life is to feel His promptings and to know that He is near.” Thomas S. Monson

The story of Job teaches us many things...
He lost everything.
He didn't understand why things around him were happening the way they were, but he never lost his faith in, or testimony of God.
He understood the importance of seeing things from an eternal perspective and TRUSTED God's PLAN FOR HIM.
Joseph B. Wirthlin said:
“Learning to endure times of disappointment, suffering, and sorrow is part of our on-the-job TRAINING.
These experiences, while often difficult to bear at the time, are PRECISELY the kinds of experiences that
STRETCH our understanding,
BUILD our character,
and INCREASE our compassion for others.
Because Jesus Christ suffered GREATLY,
He understands our SUFFERING.
He understands our GRIEF.
We experience hard things so that WE TOO may have increased compassion and understanding for others.
The Lord compensates the faithful for EVERY LOSS.
That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in HIS OWN WAY.
While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that EVERY TEAR today will eventually be returned a HUNDREDFOLD
with tears of REJOICING and GRATITUDE.”
Joseph B. Wirthlin

“The very reason the earth was created was so families could be formed and sealed to each other. Salvation is an individual matter, but exaltation is a family matter. No one can be exalted alone.” - Russell M. Nelson
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). The greatest act of love was performed for you. How are you planning to show your love for Christ this Easter season?
It is significant that the Savior chose to appear to the people at the temple. It is His house. It is filled with His power. Let us never lose sight of what the Lord is doing for us now. He is making His temples more accessible. He is accelerating the pace at which we are building temples. He is increasing our ability to help gather Israel. He is also making it easier for each of us to become spiritually refined. I promise that increased time in the temple will bless your life in ways nothing else can.
President Russel M Nelson, October 2022
“Everything good in life every potential blessing of eternal significance—begins with faith. Allowing God to prevail in our lives begins with faith that He is willing to guide us. True repentance begins with faith that Jesus Christ has the power to cleanse, heal, and strengthen us.”
- President Russell M Nelson -
As we prepare to celebrate Easter, you might take time to think about how repentance is an act of joy and a reminder of God’s love. How has repentance relieved the sorrow of sin from your life?

Today I’m sharing a sacred moment where I observed President Holland studying the names of the Savior. Every one of us has been invited to come unto Jesus Christ. Each of us has the opportunity to develop a relationship with Him.
Turn to Him in your struggles and He will make more out of you than you could ever do on your own.
The Stick of Judah is The Holy Bible
The Stick of Joseph is The Book of Mormon
“Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and writeupon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.”
-Ezekiel 37:16-17
The definition of plead: to make an urgent, emotional statement or request for something.
President Russell M. Nelson used the phrase “I plead with you” several times, both before and after becoming our prophet.
Here are a few examples:
April 2019 — “Whether you are diligently moving along the covenant path … I plead with you to repent. Experience the strengthening power of daily repentance …” 🙏
October 2021 — “I plead with you today to counter the lure of the world by making time for the Lord in your life …” ⌚️
April 2022 — “I plead with you to do all you can to end personal conflicts that are currently raging in your hearts …” ☮️
October 2022 — “My plea to you this morning is to find rest from the intensity, uncertainty, and anguish of this world …” 😌
April 2023 — “Dear brothers and sisters, Jesus Christ extends that same invitation to you today. I plead with you to come unto Him …” 😇
Prophets see around corners.
They are watchmen on the tower. They are seers.

Eternal life isn’t measured by titles, wealth, or worldly success.
It is reserved for those who are valiant in their testimony of Christ and are made perfect through Him. (See D&C 76:69)
In the end, faithful discipleship to Jesus Christ determines our eternal glory.
