@almightyahmad i don't remember anything else about it other than it's one of two bosses that kicked my ass so bad that within an hour i saw the hopelessness and moved onto a new game. i had the intention of beating him at some point but it's been 3 years now
@MightyGazelle1 Y'know at first I woulda disagreed that Majora's Mask was challenging because you get so much HP in those N64 games but then I remembered how challenging it is to just figure out what you're supposed to do a lot of times
@lermotif I love the art of rain world and I love hard games but rain world is just punishing for no reason and it doesn't respect my time. I bought it on release day and someday I'll power through it and find more to appreciate but it'll have to be on the best week of my life
@imuttjx@nenliIy I don't care if you don't play the games but are you implying that mechanics, game feel and personal engagement don't have an impact on you emotionally or can't be informative or provocative? The secondhand experience can still be interesting or insightful but not complete
I really love Silksong but the fact that it took me just over 50 hours and I rolled credits does not make me want to go back for this third act my roommate is telling me about. I want the credits to mean something
@mamimiFLCL Echo Night: horror game where you explore people's memories and solve puzzles
Maximo: action platformer with tons of variety and systems that reward good play
King's Field 4: peak dungeon crawling and exploration
Vampire Hunter D: stylish and fun but flawed throughout
@wolfyvelvet Not sure if bait or if you really don't see the difference between the two different audiences these games are appealing to and how that would be a massive waste of time for this one
