After our recent 35 day rental at @SixtDE we had issues and complaints with regards to the billing. 3 weeks and numerous reminders later we still haven’t gotten a proper response! Be warned!

@canuckcarl@SixtDE Same in Europe. In fact for the past 50 years they have neglected the train network entirely, including freight. Hence the highways are cluttered with trucks and its getting worse every day. Train networks are expensive, but best in the long run.
Generally we would encourage ALL travelers coming to Germany this summer to avoid car rental agencies! They have more than doubled their rates since last year. We normally use @SixtDE and they only offer standard excuses as to why that is! #travel#germany
@canuckcarl@SixtDE Indeed! And it was just explained with rising costs. Well, you pay for your own gas, and insurance is already hefty, so I guess they’re just trying to milk the general situation. We switched to trains. A rather nice and positive change, I must say!
After about 1 hr onboard the train from Denmark to Germany, upon entering Germany, you are required to wear a face mask. Would you pls align these rules across the EU? It makes no sense in this instance! #Europe#COVID19

Went to #colosseum today. Unpleasant experience due to issues with pre-reserved tickets and arrogant staff unwilling to help. No solutions offered. In the end we got in, but mood by then was cloudy! @ParcoColosseo#roma#italy#threeonthego
