Yes there is a great way to see all your holdings in one place and you can also consolidate everything into a single broker if you want.

To view everything together log into the official CSCS Online Portfolio View at https://t.co/cUTbTMnfG4 using your CHN which is your Clearing House Number. It pulls every share you own across all brokers platforms bonus issues and rights into one dashboard. Register if you do not have access yet.

If you want to move everything into one broker this is called an inter member transfer. Your shares stay yours you are only changing the broker that holds them for you.

Quick steps:

1. Choose the broker you want to consolidate into and open an account there if you do not already have one.

2. Contact that broker and tell them you want to do an inter member transfer from your other brokers. Give them your CHN and the names or CSCS numbers of your current brokers.

3. They will send you the transfer forms and guide you on the documents needed usually valid ID utility bill or proof of address bank details from an account you have used for at least 6 months and your latest CSCS statement from the old broker.

4. Sign and return the forms. The new broker handles most of the work with CSCS and your old brokers.

The process is mostly electronic now and usually takes a few days to a couple of weeks depending on how responsive both brokers are. There may be a small admin fee from the brokers.

I was with a family friend yesterday. Normal conversation. Then shares came up.

She bought Transcorp around 2006. Then 2008 crashed. Nobody explained anything to her. She panicked, sold at a loss, and never touched the market again.

While we were still talking, I searched her husband’s name on the SEC portal.

Access Holdings. Coronation Insurance. A few others. Unclaimed dividends sitting there for years.

They had no idea.

There is over ₦190 billion in unclaimed dividends in Nigeria right now. Most of it belongs to ordinary people who bought shares in the 2004 to 2008 boom, never completed their paperwork, and assumed the money died with the crash.

It did not die. It has been waiting.

Go to https://t.co/731nztTAbG and type in your name. Then your father’s name. Your mother’s. Your uncle who bought shares in 2007 and never spoke about it again.

The search is free. If your name shows up, the portal tells you which registrar holds your money. Fill that registrar’s e-mandate form and submit it through your bank or the registrar.

Know this too. Unclaimed dividends earn zero interest, and after six years of inactivity they can be swept into the SEC’s Investor Protection Fund.

It's knowing what to search for.

Here's my style after making plenty of mistakes.

1. T-shirts:

Skip 100% polyester unless you're buying gym wear.

Instead, search:
• 100% Cotton
• Combed Cotton
• Heavyweight Cotton
• 240-300 GSM Cotton
• Premium Cotton
• Mercerized Cotton

The heavier the GSM, the thicker and more premium the shirt usually feels.

2. Jeans:

Denim Jeans
Temu is surprisingly good for denim if you know what to search.

Search:
• Denim Jeans
• Cotton Denim
• Raw Denim
• Selvedge Denim (if available)
• 98% Cotton + 2% Elastane
• 99% Cotton

Avoid jeans with high polyester content. The more cotton, the better they'll age and feel.

3. Body-hug clothing:

Search:
• Ribbed Knit
• Modal
• Viscose Blend
• Cotton-Spandex Blend

They hold their shape much better than cheap polyester.

4. Hoodies
Search:
• 400 GSM
• French Terry
• Cotton Fleece
• Heavyweight Hoodie

5. Chains

• PVD Gold Plated
• Vacuum Plated

These are far more resistant to fading than ordinary fashion jewelry.

Pictures lie a lot

The description usually tells the truth.

Here's how I shop:

1. Read the material composition before anything else.

2. Sort by Most Orders or Best Selling, not cheapest.

3. Only buy products with lots of reviews or pictures or even better when a Nigerian has purchased it before they always tell the truth.

4. Read the 1-star reviews first. They'll tell you what the seller won't.

5. Look at customer photos, not the product photos.

6. Check the weight of the product. Better quality clothing is often heavier.

7. Read the size chart. Don't assume your Nigerian size matches.

8. If the title has words like "luxury," "premium," or "designer" but the material is 100% polyester, not everything but still move on.

Your best friend isn't the product picture.

It's the material, the reviews, and the customer photos.

That's how you separate the gems from the junk.

Nigeria has many ways of failing its people… and this is one of the cruelest.

Meet Gospel Uabari Kinanee. In 2007, he was just 14 years old. He left home to play football with friends and never came back.

For months, his family turned Rivers State upside down. Hospitals, police stations, morgues — they checked everywhere. No Gospel.

The search broke them. His parents sold their land, their property, everything they had to find their son. The pain and stress was too much. Eventually, both of them died from heartbreak 💔

The world assumed Gospel was dead too. Years passed. 18 long years.

Then in 2025, out of nowhere, his older brother got a call: “We found your brother. He’s in a correctional facility in Rivers State.”

For 18 years, Gospel had been locked up. A 14-year-old boy who went out to play.

Here is a maths trick that will change how you see money. It is called the Rule of 72.

Take 72 and divide it by your yearly return. The answer is how many years it takes your money to double.

→ At 12% a year, money doubles in 6 years.
→ At 18%, it doubles in 4 years.
→ At 24%, it doubles in 3 years.

Cecilia Ibru recently published her autobiography revealing how Oceanic Bank was born.

In 1987, at a casual visit to Vice President Augustus Aikhomu’s house, then-President Ibrahim Babangida turned to Michael Ibru and asked, “Chief, which is your bank?”

Ibru replied, “None, Sir.”

Babangida personally offered him a banking license on the spot.

Three years later in 1990, Oceanic Bank was born. By 2009, it had ₦1.3 trillion in assets.

By 2010, the bank was dead. The CEO went to jail. Ecobank picked up the pieces.

Let me put you on to something (update) that can genuinely change your financial life for good.

Go to the App Store or Google Play Store and download any of these language learning apps: Duolingo, Babbel, or Busuu.

Pick one language and commit to it. French, German, Spanish, or Portuguese. Study consistently for 6 to 12 months, then sit the official certification exam for your chosen language.

- For French, that is the DELF/DALF exam.
- For German, it is the Goethe-Zertifikat.
- For Spanish, it is the DELE.
- For Portuguese, it is the CELPE-Bras.

These certificates are internationally recognized and that is what employers actually want to see.

Once you are certified, start applying. Here is where to look:

The United Nations Careers Portal (https://t.co/yhE1JecxDm) hires Translators, Interpreters, Language Editors, and Verbatim Reporters. These are mostly onsite roles in New York, Geneva, Vienna, or Nairobi. Entry-level salary starts around $60,000 to $80,000 per year.

The French, German, or Spanish Embassies in your country regularly hire Local Staff Interpreters, Cultural Program Officers, and Administrative Officers who are bilingual. These are onsite roles paying roughly $30,000 to $60,000 per year depending on country.

The European Union Careers Portal (https://t.co/nRbtXcVLUL) recruits Linguists, Translators, and Conference Interpreters. Mostly onsite in Brussels or Luxembourg. Starting salary ranges from €4,000 to €8,000 per month.

Platforms like ProZ, Upwork, and TransPerfect hire freelance Translators and Remote Interpreters. These are fully remote. Rates run between $25 and $60 per hour depending on your language pair and experience.

The African Development Bank, World Bank, and IMF also regularly post roles for Language Officers and Regional Interpreters, especially for French and Portuguese speakers across Africa.

One language. 6 to 12 months. A globally recognized certificate. That is all it takes to unlock doors that most people do not even know exist.

Many wives today were never taught the basics about men.

1. Men do not usually grow stronger under contempt.

A lot of women are dealing with passive, weak, shut-down, porn-using, avoidant, or indecisive men. But many also speak about them with disgust, despair, or loss of respect: “I can’t respect that,” “he’s passive,” “he drifts,” “he won’t lead,” “he eats like crap,” “he won’t change.” Sometimes the complaint is justified. But contempt does not usually reform a man. It more often makes him defensive, evasive, numb, resentful, or smaller.

2. Men are often powered by respect and confidence more than women realise.

Again and again, women ask me how to trust leadership, how to submit, how to support, or what to do with a husband who “won’t lead.” But many men collapse when they feel chronically doubted, second-guessed, or treated like a child. And women are often taught to look for competence before respect, whereas men often need some real respect in order to become more competent.

3. Many men experience provision as love, not as emotional evasion.

Some women feel starved for time, presence, and emotional warmth from hardworking men. But often a man’s focus on work is not indifference but his way of carrying burdens, securing the future, and expressing care. Yes, he may still need to rebalance. But if she reads all provision as selfishness, she will miss his intention and often harden against him.

4. Men often need clear asks, not hints, mood, or silent disappointment.

Some women are exhausted that their husbands do not notice, do not help, do not anticipate, do not plan. Sometimes the man should notice more. But many women understimate how literal many men are. Men often respond better to concrete requests than to atmospheres, implication, sighs, or testing.

5. A man who shuts down is not always uncaring.

He is often flooded, ashamed, or overwhelmed. Often women describe husbands who go cold, disappear into hobbies, phone use, work, or silence, or who become emotionally unavailable when conflict starts. But male withdrawal is typically not pure malice. Sometimes it is cowardice, but often it is overload, defeat, fear of failing again, or lack of skill under pressure.

6. Men do not usually feel cherished by being managed.

A lot of women are trying to get men healthier, more decisive, more structured, more spiritual, more responsible. Often for good reasons. But there’s a difference between helping a man and mothering him. Men often resent being corrected into manhood. They respond better to challenge, respect, and consequence than to chronic supervision.

7. Sex is not just a bodily outlet for many men.

It is often a test of being wanted. Many women seem not to realise how deeply a man can experience sexual rejection as rejection of himself. He does not only want release. He often wants confirmation that he is desired, chosen, and not merely tolerated.

8. Men often bond through shared mission and activity, not only emotional talk.

Some women want more verbal depth, more processing, more frequent relational check-ins. Understandable. But men often connect sideways: doing something together, solving something together, building something, walking, planning, fixing, carrying. A woman may think, “We never really talk.” A man may think, “I’m with you all the time.”

9. Many men are more fragile around failure than women realise.

Men are often especially shaken by failure in work, money, leadership, sex, health, and household competence. But women often see only the outward passivity or drift, not the inward humiliation. And they haven’t been taught how much male vice can grow from repeated felt failure: sloth, avoidance, escapism, porn, gaming, hobby-absorption, anger, or fantasy.

10. A man can’t thrive while being split between wife and mother.

This shows up as passivity with mothers-in-law, enmeshment, and wives feeling unprotected. Many women are right to want stronger male boundaries. But a man often needs help becoming separate from his mother, not more maternal pressure from his wife. When wife and mother both pull, a weak man often freezes.
