The SANDF, through Operation CORONA, has scored several border-security successes in Limpopo, confiscating illicit cigarettes, fuel, groceries and vehicles worth millions of rand.

Mabiligwe: Illicit fuel and groceries worth R72,880 seized.

Pontdrift: A Jeep worth R100,000 and illicit cigarettes valued at R213,851 confiscated; the driver was arrested.

Groblersbridge: A truck worth R1.8 million and illicit tobacco valued at R3.8 million seized.

The operations highlight the continued efforts by the SANDF and 4 Artillery Regiment to combat cross-border smuggling and protect South Africa’s borders.

The South African Police Service (SAPS) in Milnerton, Western Cape seeks public assistance in tracing a wanted suspect, 43-year-old Andrew Chickendary. A J165 was issued on 08 July 2020 at Cape Town Magistrate's Court for the suspect to be arrested and brought before court on a charge of murder.

Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts is urged to contact the Investigating Officer, Colonel DJ Mapapu at 021 528 3003 or 021 467 8299.

#WANTED PERSONS OF INTEREST SOUGHT TO ASSIST POLICE WITH INVESTIGATION

The Lindley Detective Service requests assistance in tracing two persons of interest depicted in the attached pictures who may be able to assist with the investigation into a case of armed robbery.

The complainant alleged that on Friday, 24 July 2026, at about 19:30, he went to cash up money as part of his daily duties at a certain store and received an amount of R500.

On his way out, he encountered an unknown African male who cocked and pointed a firearm at him, pushed him back inside the store and took his cellphone and the money bag he had on his person.

The money bag was passed on to two unknown African males who were outside, and the three unknown suspects fled the scene in a blue seven-seater vehicle with GP registration plates.

Never going to understand the idea of a tax revolt. Do people understand how much taxes fund their lifestyles. We pay fair tax rates the goal should be government efficiency we need a corruption revolt.

I wish people understood just how deep and far government touched our daily lives no matter how rich pr poor you are. That's way it's important to register to vote and actually show up and vote.
