@PetrBrzek (MCP) Tools for Agents are meant to be “UI” in Agents world, usually wrapping more backend endpoints with Agent readable error messages. Turning well defined MCP tools into REST should feel wrong. Not fully doomed though, good luck 🤞
@leerob Cursor started ignoring .gitignore and casually reads .env files, it seems to be new, undocumented “feature”: https://t.co/LlX0gswj43
There must be a better solution than adding .cursorignore to every company repo

Bude to průser už ráno ?
Takže to imo uplně “vanilla Cursor” nebyl. :)
V Emplifi jsme předělali celou analytics platformu do JSON UI abychom mohli UI generovat :)
@RhysSullivan Often there are other constraints on systems - the user does not have access to the entire database, etc. that prevent this direct access through the generated SQL.
But for use-cases where it's all about experimentation / exploration, fast SQL generation is a perfect fit.
@RhysSullivan Yeah, summarization into a non-technical text might actually work well.
If the accuracy of the result is critical, there is probably still a need for a "semantic layer" that uses a more limited query language which is then translated into "safe" SQL.
@RhysSullivan But how to guarantee that the SQL query matches the input ? LLM tend to "make things up" and the resulting query may not match. A user who doesn't know SQL has no chance to notice...
