A teacher responds to the one who broke down in tears because his class of High School seniors couldn't read the material, or write a basic sentence.

As a middle school teacher she confirms what he said, and lays out the horrifying truth - kids are actually being DENIED the tools they need to learn.

When she tried to get a variety of reading materials approved, she faced nothing but obstacles.

"Here's the thing - literature is meant to provoke and inspire and encourage; it is meant to challenge the way that you think. If you only ever are exposed to viewpoints that perfectly match what you think, you will not grow into an articulate, well educated, critical thinking individual."

Then she drives the point home with what so many of us have seen for years -

"I'm starting to think that that's what people want. I don't think we can blame children for being stupid when we deny them resources that expand their mind."

There IS an intentional effort to dumb down the education system because kids who aren't challenged grow into adults that are easy to manipulate and control.

The evidence is there. Young people in particular are accepting of some of the most evil, destructive ideas known to humankind - and the only way to achieve that is to filter their "education" through an oppressor vs oppressive lens, and then train them to believe that anyone or anything that challenges their worldview is not only dangerous, those ideas and the people who believe them must be eliminated.

This is intentional.

Truth in Advertising still exists as a legal and regulatory principle—primarily enforced by the FTC in the US (and equivalents elsewhere)—but enforcement sucks. And sadly today, corporations simply look at class action civil suits as a cost of doing business. (They do a risk and benefits analysis— and determine it’s more cost-effective to pay the civil suits). We’ll need higher statutory private damages awards, mass boycotting, and independent testing to make a difference.

People do not understand cultural differences. Cultures that think it’s OK to marry little girls and rape them— are not going to change. Cultures that think they can beat their wives, throw acid on their wives, kill their wives— are not going to change. Cultures that think it’s OK to rape women, especially infidel women— are not going to change. Cultures that toss their garbage out of their windows— are not going to change; cultures that are ok with crapping and urinating in public places— are not gonna change. People that toss garbage into rivers and waterways— are not going to change. Cultures who think it’s OK to take what they want— are not going to change; they will steal from every store and every person. Cultures that think it’s OK to kill homosexuals, or infidels (anyone outside of their OWN religion)— are not going to change. So if you want that. If that’s OK for you. Then there you go.
