I want to say a massive thanks to Derek @HellenisticPod for having me as a guest speaker on his brilliant podcast! I discuss with him the spread of Buddhism throughout Asia as well as the cross-cultural interaction between Hellenistic and Indian culture and philosophy!
Interview: Greco-Buddhism in Central Asia and India with Lee Clarke (@OneAndOnlyLee05)
PhD student Lee Clarke joins the show to discuss the origins of the Buddha and the subsequent encounters between Hellenistic and Buddhist thought in Bactria and India.

I want to say a massive thanks to the wonderful team at @PhilosophyNow for allowing me to write this article about my sister, Laura. It was an absolute pleasure! ☺️
@CivGame@FiraxisGames - So I've just started Civ VII. As a Buddhist, the fact you have put Buddhist chats in the background as music for the Maurya means that I can basically treat playing as a religious experience now 😂 good job!
So after almost 8 years of reading and citing other people’s journal articles, I’m so happy finally have my first ever paper published in The International Journal of Applied Philosophy! 😁#Philosophy#Work#Zen#Construction#AcademicTwitter

@devisridhar That ‘Doctor’ has been a title for academics since the 13th century and isn’t something we’ve just made up and no, we shouldn’t have to change our titles because people confuse them with medical doctors, who actually used to be called physicians. 😉
Before all the faux outrage about a ‘gender-neutral God’, in traditional theology, God is supposed to be beyond all human concepts and language. He can’t even be described as ‘a being. So being beyond make and female really isn’t that big a deal. @GMB #gmb
Happy #BurnsNight to all my Scottish friends north of the border! This is my favourite poem personally! Definitely joining you in eating your haggis, nips and tatties tonight! 🏴
Living a philosophical life in modern times is finding a new philosopher, really liking their thought and then googling them to see if they’re still alive.
I want to say a massive thanks to the great team at @ConversationUK for publishing an article I’ve always wanted to write! I hope everyone enjoys it, May the Force be With You!

Fun fact because I forgot to mention it the other day. The Buddhist mantra Boy George was chanting is “Namu Myōhō Renge Kyō” and means something like “glory to the law of the Lotus Sutra”, a Buddhist scripture. Nichiren Buddhists say the chant leads to enlightenment ☸️ #ImACeleb
Saturday’s Doctor Who episode is going to feel longer than Liz Truss’ premiership. There can’t be two (mainly) unelected Prime Ministers in a row. There has to be at least some democratic legitimacy here. Call aj election! This is mental! #GeneralElectionNow
No actual way! Rest in peace, Robbie Coltrane! Thank you for the memories. I feel a part of my childhood has gone with you.
“It’s not Hogwarts without you, Hagrid.” 😢

My latest review for @PirReview has been published! This time, I review George Karamanolis’ excellent book ‘The Philosophy of Early Christianity’ (2nd edition). Thank you to the team at PiR for publishing!

I’m not the biggest monarchist. But I always had respect for the Queen. I feel strange, even a little lost and empty to an extent. It’s very weird. She was an extraordinary lady and I hope she rests in peace. I know I’m not the only one in the UK feeling a sense of loss tonight.
