Coronavirus infection rates across Essex have dropped by 40% in a week. In the seven days to June 24, 5.8 people per 100,000 were getting the virus. That went down to 3.5 the following week. In Southend it's down from 20.8 to 8.2 and Thurrock 12.2 to 7.
