Forbes Cotton 1st planted under film early flowers found today. On track to reach 1st flower by 20th Dec. Crop has battled 62 days of cold shock. Now @ 16-17 nodes, 8-9 NAWF. Will be interesting to see how many early bolls can be stuck with the week of heat on it way 🔥?

Forbes 1st Cotton plant (4th Sept) starting to move @ 10-11 nodes & growing away from the thrips. Squaring on 7th or 8th node. Up to 4 squares per plant. Flowers in 3-4 weeks?

The sweet sight and sound of water coming down Cooper Creek on our South Galway Station in Qld. This is from the rains about a fortnight ago up the Barcoo and Thomson Rivers. It will fill waterholes in five paddocks along the way! Fingers crossed for a good Summer.
