You must provide your ID, but they can wear masks and conceal their identities.
You must comply with every order, even when they ignore the very laws they’re sworn to uphold.
You’re told to prioritize the officer’s “safety,” while his masked buddies surround your car armed to the teeth.
You can't be armed, but they’re armed with military-grade weapons and authorized to use them to enforce compliance.
You can't protest or "interfere", but they can enter your homes, detain your children, and kill your neighbors.
You can't film them, but they can monitor your movements, scan your license plate, and track your location in real time.
You can be fined and imprisoned for one wrong move, but they’re shielded by qualified immunity, and legally allowed to deceive you during questioning.
At some point, the power dynamic reversed.
Public servants became untouchable authorities, and abuse of power was rebranded as “order.” In the process, we’ve normalized state-sanctioned extortion, brutality, and subservience to law enforcement.
If these profound double standards don’t alarm you, it’s not because they aren’t there. It’s because you’ve been trained not to notice. That’s how we got here.
It's time to start noticing and say no more...
The topic of immigration enforcement is like the right’s version of Covid hysteria.
“What, do you want millions of Americans to die from illegal immigrants?”
“Just obey orders and you’ll be fine. Do your part.”
“Your rights aren’t absolute. Government officials are acting lawfully, and you don’t have the right to undermine their efforts.”
“Stay home when DHS is in your area if you don’t want to be stopped and questioned.”
“You need to carry and show your papers when you go out. It’s for everyone’s safety.”
“Trust the experts! These former DOJ prosecutors say the Fourth Amendment allows exactly this.”
“Stop spreading misinformation about ICE and CBP. Your words are dangerous and will get more people killed!”
“This is an emergency. I don’t care what the government does. We need to stop the spread of foreigners.”
“The Constitution isn’t a suicide pact.”
A bunch of these Beltway MAGA types got into the administration by playacting as populists, following Trump’s lead.
They have no practical understanding of the Second Amendment, gun rights, or gun ownership.
Kash Patel: "You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have a right to break the law." (Pretti was carrying a gun legally.)
They told us Democrats would turn America into a show-your-papers society.
They told us Democrats would strip away the Second Amendment.
They told us Democrats would jail us for what we say.
They told us Democrats would drag us into more foreign wars.
They told us Democrats would cover up a child sex trafficking ring.
And then Republicans took power and decided to do all of it themselves.
This is an insane claim. You're arguing merely being armed in public is justification for police killing you? That's well beyond even the dubious claims DHS is making.
Impeach and remove Kristi Noem.
Congress must not fund DHS.
No more money without disciplined leadership and massive reforms—real training, body cameras, no masks—and clear rules for how federal agent misconduct will be investigated, prosecuted, and punished.
If someone who shared MAGA conservatives’ political beliefs had been shot multiple times by law enforcement officers after trying to protect two women from their aggression, and after the weapon he lawfully possessed under the Second Amendment had been removed from his person, they’d be lauding him as a hero. Too many people in this country are shamelessly salivating over the murder of their political opponents
“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed…unless you approach law enforcement.”
@WHOOP It was in your FAQ and your CEO stated it in an interview as well. This is a lie. Honor the policy you've had printed for years or I'll be canceling after being a user and subscriber for the past 4 years.
