Representing the longest-running awards dedicated to young people on Twitter, One Ekiti’s objective is to support youth development, digital social innovation, and to inspire others to take action in communities across Ekiti State. #EkitiTwitterAwards

The public voting process is one of the five impact and evaluation metrics of the #EkitiTwitterAwards. The voting results was sent to an esteemed panel of judges (see below) who rigorously evaluated the supporting evidence provided by nominees alongside their votes.

Public voting for the nominees in the different categories of the 3rd edition of the #EkitiTwitterAwards opened on 18 November and ended on 25 November 2020.

Only four categories — Entertainment, Comedy, Political Activism, and Social Trendsetter — will not go through evaluation by the jury. The aforementioned categories are up for public vote only. #EkitiTwitterAwards

This year, 59 out of the 241 entries submitted for screening were considered eligible for #EkitiTwitterAwards. 11 out of the 20 categories, which focus on advocacy, sustainable development, ICT, journalism & gender equality, went through both public voting process & evaluation.
