@kamslerka@DSymonds__@ccfc_07 Cool so we're now back to square one. Not only is this stadium a minuscule dump. It's also not even uniquely older than any US stadiums from the same era.
@gnshchsbcusba@JigBobo@ccfc_07 The thread started with Brits insisting American stadiums are inferior.
Sorry, but you're not going to gaslight us into believing the ground on the left (there are Texas High School fball teams that wouldn't play there) is objectively a better stadium than the one on the right.
@No1Tebily@BubsDr@themancalledroy@LouSirr101 Can you show me an example of a British soccer stadium with soul and character? Because I’m gonna be honest they all look like dilapidated dumps to me.
@gnshchsbcusba@ccfc_07 “The cottage was built in 1780”
It no longer exist. The cottage you are now referring to was build in 1905. So come again about this stadium-aligned cottage that is 4 years younger that the US?
@HaydenA40354547@KevinTrainor33@LouSirr101 Oh sorry man. My bad. Forgot you’re not allowed to stand at games in the UK as that would ruin the incredible atmosphere and character. Can’t have people not seated at all times.

@HaydenA40354547@codename3000@LouSirr101 Nah dude. You’re poor. And it’s cool to cope and pretend you like playing in dilapidated shitholes. I understand it’s uncomfortable your preeminent sports league and stadiums pale in comparison to a below average, low tier US college team.
@HaydenA40354547@KevinTrainor33@LouSirr101 I believe you. I just don’t believe you saw a cottage from 1780 - because it, ya know, burned down.
From 1905. Yes I bet you saw it mate.
@LouSirr101 To clear this up - this “cottage from 1780” doesn’t exist. It burned down in the 1800s.
An entirely new cottage was constructed in 1905 and that’s what you’re referring to. Just so you get your facts right.
But 1905 is cool mate. Still lots of history.
@HaydenA40354547@KevinTrainor33@LouSirr101 This is amusing me honestly. I mean, do you want me to lie and say yea you’re right - the cottage you are referring to totally wasn’t built in 1905?
Your entire argument has rested on a cottage - that doesn’t exist - being almost as old as the US.
@HaydenA40354547@codename3000@LouSirr101 Wait hold on. Camp Randall being used as a training ground for the Union army and football being played there in the 1800s doesn’t count - because the full structure wasn’t built yet.
But in your scenario it does?
You have smaller stadiums because you’re a poor country mate.
@HaydenA40354547@KevinTrainor33@LouSirr101 Honestly you’re hilarious.
Yes that cottage has never been rebuilt from scratch SINCE 1905 - when it was constructive.
Because the original one burned down you buffoon.
It’s referring to the 1905 pavilion structure that exists today, not the original 1780 hunting lodge.
@HaydenA40354547@KevinTrainor33@LouSirr101 What?
The cottage literally burned down - before Fulham ever played there. They then built a new one in 1905.
Didn’t disintegrate? Then why the fuck did they build a new one?
