Understanding the utterly unfettered, free, emergent, creative nature of our cosmos is critical to any meaningful thinking in the third millennium.

With nuclear weapons and climate change, we’ve done a marvellous job of making the future feel terminal for young people. Actually we live in a free emergent creative cosmos. The future is bright, deep and vast, and the best is yet to come.

This is why we need to, while not ignoring critical timeframes, provide clearer context as to why these things are happening, how our response already proves our worth as a species and talk about the profoundly meaningful upsides of resolving this crisis. https://t.co/uoqByzdBS5
Because 180 nuclear warheads which could easily destroy Europe, Russia, China many times over killing 100’s of millions clearly isn’t enough. This is appalling and moronic. Being a true world leader would be doing something different, not exactly the same. https://t.co/zW8fmmwudT
This extremely worrying. The blindness of UK based agricultural agencies to poisoning of ecosystems and food supplies and extreme insect decline by neonicotinoids is foolish and sad. Let the crops fail. It’s better than sanctioning a British ecocollapse. https://t.co/8lCcsvKHhv
Friend said:”The Washington riot has made me rethink the Nicholas Cage’s National Treasure movies. I thought it was just Hollywood hyperbole, but it turns out you CAN just walk into important US buildings and take stuff.”
This is massive, and horrific. @NFUtweets is secretly lobbying the government to allow #neonicotinoid pesticides to be reintroduced after Brexit.
It tells its members: "Please refrain from sharing this on social media."
On the contrary, please RT.

@DoubleDownNews@Ayishat_Akanbi I really like this. It’s hard to say clearly and you say it so well.
I tried expressing similar views in this article. Hope you don’t mind me riding a link on here - it’s been totally ignored so far but I think it’s quite good!: https://t.co/PVJzg7wRVv
Thing is: why don’t we just include *Everything* in the “moral community” and be done with it? Then including fish in your considerations is a no-brainer. #kosmosian https://t.co/nMPqNqdUzH
@Jonathan_Rowson To countermand arguments like that I would argue the we are in rapid unprecedented emergence riding on the infotech revolution. We have data, communication and unprecedented choice so past predictive measures may only work so well. That’s the nature of distruption?
@Jonathan_Rowson Illya Prigogine won a Nobel prize for work showing destabilised chemical structures leap to higher or lower levels of complexity spontaneously. Eric Jantsch extrapolated this to all things including cultural emergence in The Self Organising Universe (1979) bit dated hope it helps
It’s not just me - being post-progressive is a thing. It needs a catchier title tho. Post-liberal?: also not so catchy. Integral has been used amongst those in the know: but I think it’s too complicated for a label. I like #macro
