Hey #audiophile and #hometheater experts, I'm looking for suggestions to replace my @MarantzOfficial SR5015, which died after less than a year of use. I have been unable to get help from @MarantzOfficial and so would like to avoid the brand. Thanks in advance!!
@DrDiGiorgio So much of this is from the sludge inserted along the value chain. The EHR is less to blame than the game it was intended to help health professionals play. That said, the EHR itself is as if perfectly designed to flagellate the docs.
@nytopinion@Craig_A_Spencer Great op-Ed! I am in 99% agreement but take issue with the idea of relocating the burned out to primary care. Whereas EM is hard, but understandably so, (e.g. trauma is traumatic), there’s no intrinsic reason for (mainstream) primary care to turn bright altruistic docs into dust.
@AJNierenberg@wilsonwillywong@msolis14 This was a great read but an important missed point is that you can seriously hurt people with IV fluids if they have heart failure, kidney disease, or certain other conditions. I am surprised Ali Raja didn’t comment on this, as it’s a very common issue in clinical medicine.
@drdawg1996 I don’t think he’d have stood if he had this — you’d expect him to drop in 2 seconds or less — but this is certainly the most scary and perhaps leading diagnosis. Are there case reports to compare?
@Dell I’m pleased to report to you that despite several hours of help from my IT department, your mission to undermine my organization’s mission through random #dellsupportassist computer shutdowns continues unabated.
Dear @Dell, I’m writing to let you know that #SupportAssist has hurt my team’s productivity more than COVID-19. Should you ever innovate in time travel, I encourage you to go back in time and needlessly shut down the computer of whoever invented this “feature.”
I’m very excited for the guaranteed child care, paid family leave, investments in special education, and vast expansions in Medicaid that have been long overdue but are obviously necessitated by today’s decision. . . Wait, what?
