On Sunday, Russian President Putin convened an emergency government meeting to address the ongoing fuel crisis in the country, caused in main part by Ukrainian strike campaign on Russian fuel infrastructure.

Putin announced that Russia is introducing a full ban on export of gasoline and aviation kerosene, while a ban on diesel fuel is also being considered.

He also noted that despite releasing accumulated fuel to the domestic market, the reserve level remains practically the same as it was last year in the same period.
