Whether the story is about sexual abuse or immigrants caged at Alligator Alcatraz, our journalists take great care to ensure that their material is accurate, fair and conveys invaluable aspects of humanity that AI simply can't do.

At McClatchy, if you as a reporter refuse to use the AI bot to write articles, the bosses will produce the AI slop anyway and force your editor to put your name on against your will.
For #employeeappreciationday, McClatchy graciously offered its employees the opportunity to spend what little wages they get on overpriced merchandise.
You know what would make us feel actually appreciated? A livable wage. McClatchy should offer us one.
