The US has charged a man over an alleged plot to assassinate an American citizen in New York who advocated for a Sikh separatist state.

Nikhil Gupta, 52, an Indian national who was charged on Wednesday, was directed by an Indian government employee, according to the indictment.

Gupta was arrested in Czech republic and US is trying to extradite him.

Several individuals contacted the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology to report Dr. Rupali Chadha's racist and criminal mindset after she labeled Sikhs as terrorists in a tweet.

We were advised by the department to email state medical board @MedBoardOfCA at [email protected] to review her accreditation/certification. Given her job and influential position, her racist and criminal mindset could pose a serious threat to religious minorities.

Complaints could also be directed to her current employer @CACorrections.
