@ConceptualJames Photojournalist Robert Capa had over 100 photos of the D-Day landings but unfortunately all except 11 were ruined because an assistant used an overheated drying cabinet.
Capa was later killed by a landmine in 1954 while on assignment with the French in Vietnam.
It may be that none of Joy Reid’s black friends are excited about the 4th — there are plenty of good reasons why that would be true — but this revisionist history that the revolution was about protecting slavery is madness.
