Even though she didn’t direct it, that was George Roy Hill, but “Slap Shot” (1977) written by Nancy Dowd remains one of the best sports film ever made and a quintessential guy movie.
@CurtisinCle Same! It is a lesser known work in Lynch’s career and his only G-rated film, but just as great as his other features. I always happily recommend it to others who have never seen or heard of it.
@CurtisinCle Same, even though I enjoyed the first one. When I first heard that Cameron was going to make multiple Avatar sequels, I thought why is he doing this. But now, I completely onboard. He never misses. Super Excited for Fire and Ash.
@CurtisinCle You saw both the best one (Superman) and the worst one (The Quest for Peace) of the original series. Superman II is a very good sequel. I prefer the Richard Donner cut over the theatrical version. Superman III has really one good scene in a film with a lot of bad ones.
