Forsake not reflective sparks
of heart sonnets
as day rises the watchers
— keepers of mortal’s pining memory
of forethought’s afterthoughts
Moved are gusts of wind and rain
to mingle with earthly tears
Washed away but not forgotten
are the many wordless sorrows
#onepicpoetry #180
and the sky knew
how i’d reach
the smaller light
from the bigger bang
every moment
born of the moment before
and sometimes my thoughts
aren’t so far from wrong
@OnePicPoetry
‘Tis a year you’ve been grieving ..
allow me be thy king of meaning
I render my heart to this serving ..
‘tho be I undeserving
I wish thee be my princess charming ..
to this I promise love un-harming’
@OnePicPoetry
I AM here —
the silent
subconscious
greater then
demagogues of
conscious wanderings
leading hearts astray
away from sacred
wonderings
Sweet silent solitude am I —
air of sublime tranquility;
a muse
of strumming heartstrings
of story
of many long agos
when i prayed to Him
a butterfly gently alighted
on my open hands
and rubbed off
her magic pollen
as i looked up
a rainbow smiled in the sky
mercy delivered in no time

there he stood arms open wide
no judgement passed
with tenderness abound
& a look of pride in his eyes,
watching her metamorphosis
into a brave resilient butterfly
with no more need to hide,
just an eternal home
amid his embrace
immeasurable love
& sanguine blissful smiles.
In my hands…
Such beauty lands…
I wonder if I requested this everyday…
Would life listen to my demand…

Even fog leaned closer.
Veins of rain slid down her umbrella.
Only the butterfly touched her gently;everything else went feral.
Lips almost met,then didn’t.
Very softly,she said my name.
Every winter smells like her hair.#MyDarkScribbles🖊 #vss365#AcrosticChallenge#OnePicPoetry
you held the butterfly like a secret already dying.
rain at the windows. paint beneath your nails.
I kissed your wrist once;
slow enough to ruin something.
by morning, the colours wouldn’t wash off.
