NEVER FORGET: once your culture is gone, it's gone forever.
Government education has (deliberately) failed to teach the Great Books of the West for decades.
So, we started an independent group to study the Western canon together. We're reading the books that form the mind and shape the spirit. The books our ancestors read.
Western Civilization has given us the greatest works ever known, but it takes effort and an open mind to read them. Homer, Plato, Aristotle, Augustine, Dante, Shakespeare, and Milton are not just names in a syllabus, but guides to a deeper and more ordered life.
Join our reading group to study the great works in dialogue with others. We read a new classic every 4-6 weeks, and meet biweekly to discuss.
We are just starting The Brothers Karamazov, the greatest psychological novel ever written. You do NOT want to miss this.
Take out a paid subscription if you'd like to support us and join the discussions directly — it makes a huge difference to the time and resources we can dedicate.
You'll get:
- Live book club discussions (biweekly)
- Access to our incredible community chat
- Essays to guide you through the Great Books
- All past recordings, essays, and podcasts
- Ability to vote on what we read next

Abu-Bilal al-Minuki (also known as Abu Bakr al-Mainuki) was a Nigerian national and a senior commander for the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP)
ISWAP? Is that like @IHOP for swingers?
When I was a kid, this photo would be on the cover of Time, the Wheaties box, next years Trapper Keeper, lunchboxes, and the bedroom wall of teenagers all over America.
This video is not about politics. If you can’t objectively laugh at the guy in red getting knocked out like he was in a cartoon after his tough guy routine I can’t trust your opinion on anything in life.
My therapist asked me what I did this week that I sounded so much more positive and chill.
"I turned off the outside world for a couple of days, dove in to my phone to escape reality and found happiness from strangers in apps that I should otherwise delete"
*Awkward silence 😈
Bret Weinstein urges young women to recognize they've been sold a bill of goods that has led them into self-harm...
"I see signs of life amongst young men.
I see them beginning to recognize what they lost and trying to find their way back. I'm not sure back is where they want to go, but trying to find their way back because it was better.
And I do not see this amongst young women. I see a lot of doubling down on these notions that turn out to have been devastating.
And there's a sense that those notions are entitled to be right, that these ideas are so beautiful that surely if we just put our foot on the accelerator, sooner or later we will get to that utopian place. I'm frustrated that women are not recognizing the predicament that has been created. I'm not looking for fault finding. What I want is for people to stand up for themselves. And to the extent that they've been sold a bill of goods that has led them into self-harm, I would like them to reject it, return to sender, and figure out what I suspect are not going to be old rules. They're going to have some traditional aspects to them. They're going to have some novel aspects to them. But to essentially renegotiate the agreement between the sexes in light of the fact that the notions that followed from the sexual revolution turned out to be a disaster."
