We know it can feel hard to get a GP appt at the moment. Nationally GPs delivered 28.4 million appointments in March 2021. That's 5 million more than the month before, and 3 million more than in March 2019.

7. Hospitals can also vaccinate patients who are attending anyway AND fall within the designated risk cohorts. They can also vaccinate their patient facing staff.

Hope this helps. There is a lot of national confusion.

Seven important points about the covid vaccination programme 💉

1. Primary Care Vaccinations are hitting all targets at least as soon as predicted, and often sooner. 👏 👏 (GP admin staff are working till 9pm many nights & Saturdays calling patients ensure no wasted slots)

6. You can't just turn up for a vaccination anywhere. (At least not at this stage in the programme)
