US Shifts ‘Christian Persecution’ Narrative From Nigeria to Tanzania

After weaponising the “Christian genocide” narrative against Nigeria, and ultimately showing its hand with a policy proposal focused entirely on the country’s foreign alliances and resources as against any supposed Christian plight, Washington is now turning its attention to Tanzania. At a US Senate hearing on April 28, Republican Senator Ted Cruz accused Tanzania of suppressing Christians, despite presenting no concrete evidence.

The Spearhead’s feature-length investigative documentary titled “What Happened On October 29?” examines why Tanzania has suddenly become the latest target of this recycled US propaganda effort, the economic and geopolitical interests driving the campaign, and the complicit local actors. The documentary premieres in Accra on May 26, in Dar es Salaam on May 29, and in Nairobi on May 31.

ALERT: @MacFarlaneNews reports there are now THREE federal lawsuits challenging Trump’s $1.776 billion slush fund.

One lawsuit calls the fund a “jaw-dropping” act of corruption and self-dealing.

Another was filed by former Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn and D.C. officer Daniel Hodges, who argue taxpayers should not be forced to subsidize January 6 rioters who still threaten law enforcement officers.

A third federal suit argues the fund amounts to political favoritism benefiting supporters of one political figure over others.
