Communities are a great way to build a support network and share learning and expertise. Whether for a particular profession or sector, they are a great thing to get involved in.
“How communities of practice will help to transform Defra” this blog post dates back to 2016 when I first worked with @ewebber on setting up the first CoP. It’s all still relevant today and the yellow cardigan is still going strong! 🙌🏽 https://t.co/ymsU6F3KwQ
After many of you asking (seriously loads!), and a quiet day to recreate stuff from an image, I've finally made a shareable template of the map of the service manual across time. https://t.co/GLfy0KosK8
The wonderful @noursidawi and @theasnow are hosting a global, online Shifting the Powerplay in Co-design workshop, on 2 June 2021. If you are curious about how we foster dialogue and action, making the role of power more explicit in our work, then this is for you!

“Governments continue to evolve away from siloed organisations defined by hierarchies and hard policy/delivery boundaries..there’s a trend towards a more adaptable, fluid network-style structure” 🙌🏽

We're now hearing from @IanHowley , the chief exec of @lgbtHERO and a suicide survivor who has dedicated his life to trying to stop it happening to other people
#OTGSP#WSPD2020
Visitors to @lgbtHERO's peer support form increased by 40% in lockdown, and they undertook analysis to understand how their lives had changed, with a really broad range of respondents. 79% reported a negative impact on their mental health in lockdown
#OTGSP#WSPD2020
There's clearly a data gap on suicide - lower level data is needed so that communities can identify where help can be directed so it can be provided. Hoping for the best won't do enough.
Thanks @IanHowley@lgbthero#OTGSP#WSPD2020
Wanting people to smile at Sean's memory, and to provide the community support that he couldn't find inspired @debbiemaloney13 to create @SeansPlace2, which opened in January 2020 and is helping 75 men every week. And it is run by volunteers. Amazing.
#OTGSP#WSPD2020
Medication and therapy has a place, but there needs to be somewhere that people can open up and talk to someone. @debbiemaloney13@seansplace2 has created a safe space and a platform for people to talk, and where families can get support. It is life changing.

#WSPD2020 has been a hard event - make sure you take the time to decompress. Look after yourselves to be able to look after each other. Wise closing words from @PennyFosten#OTGSP
