I’m increasingly concerned about homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in NB. We need to do everything we can to protect the 2SLGBTQ+ youth. This includes maintaining Policy 713, which is under threat from this Premier and Minister.
The attack on the 2SLGBTQI+ community in Colorado Springs is horrifying, and we stand with them against this vile act of hatred. On behalf of Canadians, I’m sending my deepest condolences to those who lost a loved one, and wishing a fast and full recovery to all those injured.
Our hearts are heavy this Transgender Day of Remembrance, as we think of all those lost to the vile forces of transphobia. Now, more than ever, we must be vigilant, stand up to hate and support our trans communities. #TDoR

Honoured to be chosen as Grand Marshal for this year’s #Pride Parade.Sunday August 21st. We’ve(PIE)spent ~15 years working tirelessly to make our NB schools safe & inclusive for LGBTQ2+ students, educators & allies-it wasn’t always easy. But always worth it! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🥰🙏#proud
It was our privilege. So happy to help share this important part of our Canadian history and educate our youth of past wrongdoing. When we know better, we do better. #educationmatters@Gailey99
Live right now! So proud of my niece, Lauren Hicks, for being a finalist in the CGLCC “Business Advocate” awards ceremony at this Black and White Gala. #lgbtq 🌈 https://t.co/peFrG1PB09
It’s 2021. A mom contacts me asking for my help getting their son to come to my school #GSA group ❤️ At GSA meeting, a different boy is terrified his family will find out he’s there 💔 Change is happening but lots of work to be done. #LGBTQ2#support#educationmatters
#PIECON is happening again! New Brunswick’s high school GSA conference - virtual for the first time! Great line up of speakers and activities including #Quinn - Team Canada’s gold medalist soccer player!! 🤩⚽️🇨🇦🌈🦄
You know what? Let’s wear masks! Even if government has inadequate measures, we can all choose to wear masks indoors in public. Vaccinations are essential, but they’re not enough right now. We don’t have herd immunity & children under 12 don’t have that option yet. Wear a mask 😷
The City has officially confirmed it will observe the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation on Sept 30. To mark the importance of the day the City will permanently raise the flag of the Wolostoqiyik people outside City Hall & close non-essential services https://t.co/KqfT3ceHmM
The best part of the debate was when Mr. Blanchet didnt know the English for something and @JustinTrudeau translated for him immediately. It happened at the end but was heart warming and should be what we strive for. Canadians helping Canadians even if we disagree
