Refugees had to flee war, violence and persecution. They travelled treacherous routes to find safety. And as they start their lives over again, they carry with them memories of home in exile.

Program 5: Canadians Speaking Out for Refugees is presented by @OneWorldArts today. The program includes a documentary screening at 6:00pm EST of The Least We Can Do, directed by Moira Simpson who worked with the Women Refugees Advocacy Project.
Panelists include: The Honourable @SenJaffer, the Honourable @lloydaxworthy (@wrmcouncil), Rev. @MajedElShafie (One Free World International), Dr. Leora Kuttner (int’l expert on pain & anxiety management), Aveen (Yazidi refugee), and Dr. @janilkiz (expert on trauma care).
