Hamas’s attack orders explicitly instructed its terrorists to murder, burn, abuse, and target every Israeli they encountered, regardless of religion, race, sex, or age, including Muslims.

From the late 11th to 13th century, Crusaders (European Christians) held parts of the land of Israel as the Kingdom of Jerusalem, later contested by Ayyubids under Saladin. Nobody thought of making it a "Palestinian State", because neither it or a Palestinian people had ever existed.

From the 7th to 11th century, Arab Muslim Caliphates (Rashidun, Umayyad, Abbasid, Fatimid) held and ruled the land of Israel as Jund Filastin. Nobody thought of making it a "Palestinian State", because neither it or a Palestinian people had ever existed. The name "Filastin" was an denomination, like the Rockies or the Midwest, not tied to any distinct Arab national identity.

From the Roman period through the Byzantine era (63 BCE onward), the Romans (and later Byzantines) held and ruled the land of Israel of Israel they had conquered from the Jews.

After the Bar Kokhba revolt (132–135 CE), they took the land of Israel of Israel from the Jews and renamed the province Syria Palaestina to spite and erase Jewish connection to it. Nobody thought of making it a "Palestinian State", because neither it or a Palestinian people had ever existed.

And before that: Persians, Babylonians, Assyrians, Israelites/Judahites, Canaanites... The land of Israel changed hands among empires and peoples for millennia, but "Palestine" as a nation-state with a distinct "Palestinian people" JUST. NEVER. EXISTED.

Empires came and went. Populations came and left.

Only the Jews stayed in their Land, always.
