🟡Today, President @nelsonchamisa visited Gokwe-Nembudziya as part of his ongoing rural mobilization campaign ahead of the August 23 harmonized elections. During his address to the cluster leaders and members and villagers, he made a commitment to transform Gokwe into a modern town by adding value to their cash crop, cotton. Currently, cotton farmers are receiving a meager $0.35 per kg, which falls well below the production cost. President Chamisa pledged to raise the payment to $1 per kg once he assumes office on the 23rd of August.

ZEC says they will now publish the final polling stations next month on 2 August.

They keep shifting dates.🚩

ZEC had promised to publish these 11,501 stations last week on 2 July.

In August, it will be very late to challenge and rectify any illegal polling stations.

ZEC wants to release the VR only AFTER all pending court cases are cleared around 20 July.

This is unfair because only 4 days will be remaining to audit and challenge the VR; which is inadequate.

ZEC must release the VR now to all candidates who are not at the courts.

The opposition in Zim is fighting not only Zanupf but ZEC, CIO, Army, Police, Chiefs etc.

There is need to shift strategy and go on with rallies without seeking approval from Zanupf Police. It is clear the police is blocking rallies.

This is nowhere near a free election.

ZEC is illegally adding more voters to the roll.

Voter registration closed on 2 June and the 21 June nomination final VR had 6,598,523 voters.

Today, there are now 6,619,690 voters in the VR.

This means ZEC has added 21,167 more voters.
