@NielsforUkraine@nafo_russia@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 LOL Do you really believe the nonsense you wrote? 😂
Just look at your government. That's where the fascists are. They're the ones who banned all Russian social media and media, afraid you'd learn something unnecessary and unlike the Western mainstream narrative. 😄
@KurtzPavel@YLatynina
@nafo_russia@NielsforUkraine@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 Only Zelensky himself and his Western masters claim this. Russia, however, stands by the law and has no intention of signing anything with an illegitimate puppet beggar.
@nafo_russia@NielsforUkraine@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 Mobile voting centers were deployed in hard-to-reach locations to reach as many people as possible. In any case, let Zelenskyy at least hold such a referendum, if he's not a dictator.
@nafo_russia@NielsforUkraine@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 Your quote says nothing about extending the president's POWER. It only says that the president remains in office until a new president is sworn in. And by the way, it's unclear on what basis martial law is in effect in Ukraine? Has Ukraine declared war on Russia?
@NielsforUkraine@nafo_russia@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 At least Putin amended the constitution to allow him to run for an additional presidential term. And these constitutional changes were supported by the Russian people in a referendum. Zelenskyy didn't hold any referendum. All his claims of popular support are unsubstantiated.
@NielsforUkraine@nafo_russia@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 Because Russia wants peace agreements signed only with the legitimate leadership of Ukraine, and not with a drug-addicted usurper whose signature isn't worth a dime.
@nafo_russia@NielsforUkraine@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 After all, who is Zelenskyy begging to sign a peace agreement? If Russia's opinion doesn't matter, then let him sign with those whose opinions matter. Meanwhile, Russia will continue its SVO.
@nafo_russia@NielsforUkraine@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 Who cares who questioning it anyway? The main thing is that Russia has doubts about Zelenskyy's legitimacy, since the constitution doesn't explicitly provide for an extension of his term. So, his signature isn't worth a dime.
@Bonkruzzians@hannascheepers@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 But this doesn't mean Zelenskyy has the right to exercise presidential powers. The Constitution doesn't provide for this, but it does clearly stipulate that the powers of the Verkhovna Rada (and only the Verkhovna Rada) are being extended.
@KurtzPavel@YLatynina
@KurtzPavel@YLatynina
@kakstadenssoner@Corenthian@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 In my "dictatorship" the borders for entry and exit are open and men are not caught on the streets like animals in order to send them to slaughter in the interests of a corrupt puppet and illegitimate regime.
@NielsforUkraine@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 It only says "holding elections of the President of Ukraine", but nothing states that a president whose term has expired can continue to serve as acting president. According to the constitution, in the absence of an elected president, powers devolve to the Speaker of the Rada.
@nafo_russia@NielsforUkraine@rickh1956@DanielLDavis1 The Constitution explicitly defines the procedure for extending the POWERS of government bodies under martial law. ONLY the POWERS of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine are extended not president. Zelensky may hold the presidency until the elections, but not exercise POWERS.
