@Moderate_Probs@TSSAA If I performed that poorly at my job, I’d be fired — plain and simple. Yet they’ll hand a uniform to every average Joe and continue defending this level of officiating. If my work schedule allowed, I’d gladly step in and help make the game better.
Not surprised @TSSAA declined to answer any questions about the situation. They’ll continue standing behind terrible officiating.. Consistency has been a persistent issue throughout the state this year, and the officiating has only worsened over the years.
We obtained the TSSAA officials report after a Webb School - Bell Buckle baseball player was ejected for flipping his bat after a grand slam.
TSSAA declined to comment but has communicated with Webb, an official said.

Here is a clip from the St. George’s dugout of the bat flipped bat being thrown back across the field by the assistant. The umpire seemed to miss that one.

Absolutely egregious ejection in that moment. TSSAA needs to do better.
