@zanyxoe You know what I just thought of? We should have painted one of the super soakers silver so you had a big fun weapon. Mom dropped the ball on that one. Sorry.
@zanyxoe Well...I am proud of the person you have grown into. You own who you are in all facets. You give me hope for the future. Or at least make me smile that I helped you become YOU.
Just finished Michelle Tea's (@TeaMichelle) new book, "Knocking Myself Up." All I can say is I want to sit and have coffee with them, pick their brain. I fancy myself a decent writer, but DAMN!
In the process of cleaning and organizing my office, I have now realized that it all just ended up piled on my desk. No wonder I can't get shit done. #writerslife
When you can't walk due to an injury, you find other things to entertain yourself. Tonight I am rewatching The Handmaid's Tale while writing a diatribe about who was really right during the "We were on a break" Ross and Rachel situation.
Last night, my husband asked me, "You've been in so many @ChickenSoupSoul books now. Does it get boring, like...yeah, it's just another one?" No sir. That honored feeling NEVER gets old. @amynewmark#happywriter
Writing while watching the sunrise is one of my most favorite things. I had to do something as I have been rewatching E.R. for the hundredth time and that episode where Carter gets stabbed gets me every damn time.
Haven't written anything in a while, as I have been dealing with life things...but I was wondering something. If I grew out my armpit hair long enough so that I could curl it into a twirl, would that make me the ultimate Hippy-ster?
As if our neighbors didn't think we were crazy enough...me outside sweeping the debris in the driveway wearing my pjs and apron in the rain...that should have done the trick.
I'm so sorry that I haven't been around much in the past few months. I've been busy writing the great American novel...or something like that. I'll let you know when it's done so you may bask in its glory.
Writing a book to not only honor your child but hopefully teach them life lessons is one of the most challenging projects that I have ever tackled. Good thing that they are so very worth it.
