@ParkerP87930938@sailorslilmoon@DamnLeo08 There was a vampire Storm in an alternate reality (Mutant X) who was transported to the main 616 universe and joined the Classic X-Men team that had been brought from the past until she was killed.
One of the most powerful moments in The Great Debaters is the unforgettable exchange between the characters played by Denzel Washington and Forest Whitaker. Their conversation goes far beyond religion and it challenges ideas about identity, resistance, and the courage to question deeply held beliefs.
For centuries, the British have traversed the world, imposing their way of life, language and faith on indigenous people globally. Their presence causing chaos and misery for the people they encountered.
This man is a voice of reason…
BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA was released 40 years ago today.
It struggled at the box office after opening just weeks behind ALIENS, but years of home video and cable TV gave it a second life, turning John Carpenter’s action-fantasy into cult classics.
@Joe__Bassey Why is it always a surprise for people to learn that ancient cultures were travelling the globe and trading with other countries millenia before wypipo were a speck in anyone's eyes. And it goes without saying that some that travelled/traded also settled.
In 1960, Ghanaians gathered at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, firing old muskets, beating drums, and raising banners to celebrate Ghana’s boycott of South African goods — a bold protest against apartheid and racial discrimination in South Africa, in solidarity with Black South Africans.
"People think that when we talk about...being Pro Black and what not, it means...being anti white. The only reason why they think that is because being pro white has always meant being anti Black. It's not the same thing."
Former South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor tearing into the West with brutal clarity, ripping apart its hypocrisy, shredding its blatant double standards, and laying bare the empty moral posturing it so arrogantly hides behind........
Ray Harryhausen, the stop-motion genius who brought myths to life with his hands, was born on this day in 1920.
This blink-and-you’ll-miss-it tribute ends with his crowning glory: the legendary skeleton swordfight from Jason and the Argonauts (1963).
Absolute cinema sorcery 🔥
Confidence Is Not A Crime
Yesterday in Croydon, a Black woman with crutches and food containers had a taser pulled on her, not because she was dangerous, but because two-tier policing still treats Black women’s voices as violence and their self-advocacy as a threat.
This scene isn't talked about enough. I love the fact that this Flash's lightning appears only when he's super fast. Otherwise, he's a blur in regular super sonic speed. It adds depth and power to his speed and lightning when it appears....Really cool

When I think what JD Vance said yesterday about Watergate, this clip reminds me that corruption was something that was once prosecuted, that intelligence was once applauded and that science was respected.
Now it’s a race to the bottom.
