#IBT International Biotechnology Trust
They don't all line up as perfect as this one but when they do it's worth sharing. #TBcif
My view has been this is a great indirect play on AI acceleration. The market agrees but lets just note this is a big move for us already and the study should focus on where the fundamentals and technicals came together giving us a great low risk entry into an in play sector.

Well worth a read through Jason's stuff. It's his own take on stock selection, risk/reward, position sizing etc. I've been using Trading Bases and Sharescope for a number of years now, and I'm still happily trading. π
Jason Needham @TradingBasesUK returns with a new guest article exploring the portfolio habits that can quietly damage long-term returns. From cutting winners too early to averaging down on losers, he explains how disciplined position sizing and letting winners run can create asymmetrical returns over time.

#TUNE Focusrite
Short and medium trend rising through time as TUNE builds a St2 base on top of the loose St1.
52W High's not traded in over 4 years and the base line at 252.5 area is that line in the sand.
To ride a trend it takes a leap of faith for the fundamentals as stocks trend as (and if) the risk unwinds.
If you turn up and buy when all your screening boxes are ticked you better look behind to see if you missed the move. Remember all those green investors who bought into the FEVR, GAW, BOO, W7L high tide lines.
Blinkers on, If-Then execution.
I'm here for the journey. If the train doesn't leave the station I'll hop on the next one. ππππ₯
Iβm pleased to let you know about a limited-time Black Friday offer for ShareScope and ShareScope Pro.

Bases. Pretty simple concept. So hard to execute the psychology, wading through the noise, the ups and downs. Jason really helps with steering a course through all of it with a portfolio of stocks in the 'camel race'.
#DPLM here's a look back at our slingshot entry into Diploma and it's journey to target for those selling into strength.
I would fully expect price action to get a little loose after the stellar move.
Seems the CFO likes to get loose at company events too πΊ

#MTL Metals Exploration +500% from the low risk St1 base entry. #TBcif
+600% from the cheat.
This is what we do over at https://t.co/adeGbg86kS
We look for great stocks that can rerate.
We marry the best growth stocks with the correct entry.
Run the winners, add to the winners to get account changing winners that eclipse all the small paper cuts the market deals out.
This is why we turn up everyday. ππππβοΈ
#MTL Metals Exploration PLC
+75% from the last base cheat but more importantly up well over 300% from our low risk entry and a huge outlier. The process of uncovering stocks that can rerate is actually very simple. Gas in the tank, line in the sand etc. Where investors struggle is holding onto the winners. Fear of giving back. Simple rules help.
All the small wins & losses on the journey live rent free between your ears but you have to build the psychological resilience to let those winners run.
Worship the trailing stop order.
Stay in lane. https://t.co/adeGbg86kS βοΈ

Just wanted to share what we talked about in tonight's screening session. Jamie has an uncanny ability to unravel my rambling off-piste subjects and put them in an orderly format.

Even Weighting - Flat Earth Theory for the stock market!
There's two popular ways of approaching position sizing in stock.
Even Weight - You put lets say 5% in every position.
You might say I need a 15% stop on every position.
In effect you're saying all stocks are wrong on a 15% pullback. Portfolio feedback then tells you you're getting a lot of pain from the livelly stocks and thus you need to focus on sloth like stocks that don't move much. You then maybe brand high beta stocks as high risk.
Fixed Fractional - You've seen Edward Treetop (the Legend) trying to herd cats and maybe studied Van Tharp and you understand that all stocks dance around to a slightly different beat so you give them the room they need to enjoy themselves on their journey. You back into your risk and stop worrying about volatility and percent moves.

@shiftingshares Hope the MPs will be dobbing in all those city folk who have acquired millions through the covid fast lane or dubious deals in Teeside regeneration, or probably billions from insider dealing. Oh, forgot, that's all legal..
@martinthebrave I hold a few ARM, Martin. I really don't understand why these people aren't licencing ARM chips. They can be CPUs in operating systems, including unix, and the graphics capabilities are evident in your smartphones. But they draw LOADS less power and generate LOADS less heat.
Yep - been bumbling along making its mind up for ages, but 20% should be telling you it's out of favour with someone. For trend followers it's clearly broken primary trend to the downside. Of course I have no crystal ball, but it's out of my portfolio too. Big winner.
#W7L left my portfolio recently. So long and thanks for all the fish. Large compounder at my site.
W7L is not selling off on the back of 2024 Y on Y deceleration as we've known that it was trading towards deceleration since 24/4/24. Thats a long time. It's about looking forward and that is the problem. Cute forward looking update is not turning the tide.
Its very sad to see the popular accounts return this morning for the ramp only to delete all those ramping posts an hour later.
NEVER BUY ON TIPS. π₯
@rhomboid1MF@RanmoorRuffian@EricUKInvestor Yep - Jase's crew at Tradingbases have been holding this one for a little while. Picked out for a trend by his GTRS filtering method. π€
