Yes, I’ve mentioned this a number of times: the average Nigerian couple aren’t childhood friends who grew together into lovers, nor are they replicas of two people who consistently sought each other’s body and soul to fulfil their deepest desires.
More often, it is a man doing all he can to become “made” (relatively speaking), then trying his luck with women within the social bracket he believes might consider him a potential mate. He must prove that he can provide for her and accommodate her excesses before she commits to him.
Then, when she is eventually “with him,” she discovers, unfortunately, that she may also have to keep up with his excesses—unless she has enough leverage to leave him for someone else. In this sense, she is dutiful by contingency, not by purpose.
If a man has to pay for a simulation of a woman’s affection, and the woman accepts that payment, then they must both play their respective roles in an arrangement where the woman’s pleasure could hardly be the man’s priority. If affection itself can be simulated, let her simulate the orgasm too.
It is only fair, then, to observe sensuality and sexual attraction between people who genuinely experience them—people who are sincere about it and conscious of it. Such people aren’t exactly common in urban Nigeria.
A Player in the South African League didn't score in 5 games, so his Coach got him a girlfriend to cheer him up.
He scored 4 goals in their next game.
The Player, Mame Diang 🇸🇳 became the Top Scorer with 14 goals that seazon, and joined German club, Wolfsburg.

"Morality is a privilege position, and let me tell you something, trading beauty as a value exchange, it fades. You're not going to be in your prime forever, nobody is in their prime forever. Sometimes it comes earlier for women and come later for men"

‘Expensive’ is a brilliant journalist.
Correction: Lugard didn’t sell Nigeria to the colonials. The Bagar was a colonial agent who engineered and executed the amalgamation. When he wrote the colonial office, seeking official permission and authorization to amalgamate the protectorates, he was only doing so for formality because the decision was already reached long before then. Of course permission was swiftly granted and Nigeria was crystallized into a business empire for the British through amalgamation and has, ever since, been run by big British or British-affiliated corporations. It’s a dark, open secret.
This is why real leaders are never allowed to lead Nigeria. Only fraudulent, brutally soulless and fantastically corrupt gangsters are supported by the colonials to run their business empire called Nigeria.
So if you live in Nigeria, you are a commodity, or to put it more respectfully, you’re a slave laborer in a company rather than the citizen of a country. This is why elections don’t excite me. Belief in elections is no different from belief in the fake “independence” they claim we have.
The only good that can come out of these elections is a miraculous revolution that sends us back to ‘Ground Zero’, where it all began - there we can reclaim our stolen dignity and by ourselves, chart the course of our individual or collective destinies.
NOTE: That colonial office that Lugard wrote for permission to amalgamate Nigeria exists today in the form of what you call CHATHAM HOUSE.
This misleading narrative that immigration laws are changing because Nigerian/African migrants are making content about life in host countries has to stop. It’s absolutely nonsense, and I have to time to dismantle it today.
